King George Square, Brisbane
The World Federation of Trade Unions, which unites and brings together 105 million workers in 130 countries, regardless of their nationality, origin, gender, colour, religion, language, expresses its solidarity with the aboriginal and indigenous peoples in Australia. We condemn any form of exploitation, discrimination and inequality in work and society, and we strongly support the struggle for equality among all individuals and peoples in the length and breadth of the globe.
The National Day of Action that is taking place on 10th April 2021 in Australia, under the slogans and the just demands “Stop Aboriginal Deaths in Custody” and “Black Lives Matter” constitutes one more militant response against the exploitation, injustice and impunity that prevails in the country despite the long-lasting assurances and declarations of the authorities.
The struggle continues!
