Castle Freak will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on March 16 via RLJE FIlms. The 2020 remake of Stuart Gordon’s 1995 horror cult classic horror film is currently available on VOD and streaming on Shudder.
Based on H.P. Lovecraft’s short story “The Outsider,” the movie is directed by special effects artist Tate Steinsiek (Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich, Knock Knock) and written by Kathy Charles.
Clair Catherine, Jake Horowitz, Chris Galust, Emily Sweet, Omar Brunson, Elisha Pratt, Genti Kame, and Kika Magalhães star. Horror icon Barbara Crampton, who starred in the original Castle Freak, produces.
