if you live in washington state, please take down & deep-clean your bird feeders! there is an outbreak of disease and we dont want to spread it <3
februrary 14 2021 -- western WA they should stay down until march; if you live in eastern WA, keep them down until april. this includes hummingbird feeders! it's not dangerous to humans, just birds. thanks for doing ur part to keep birds safe :)
Hummingbird feeders should also be removed to prevent bird disease State fish and wildlife officials are very confident the hummingbirds will be able to survive without human intervention, even through a col king5.comupdate: the outbreak is affecting essentially the entire west coast of the us. put those feeders away!!!!
