it’s actually way funnier than a shark showing off. when a shark is flipped on its back it causes something called tonic immobility. they enter a kind of hypnotized state when this happens. research scientists use this state when handling sharks in the lab. but obviously, it can occur naturally… like this clip shows. this dumb ass got curious and examined the boat, and then it accidentally flipped itself on its back. so it’s kinda like… doing the shark equivalent of tripping balls
