SUBLIME CINEMA #81 TARKOVSKY’S STALKER
Tarkovsky treated each of his works like a masterpiece painting that they are. He never made a bad film, and approached each with tremendous focus and painstaking attention to detail and saw each project as a deeply personal spiritual mission. His book Sculpting in Time is the greatest artists manifesto I have read.
