It is not. The new lawsuit has a lot of people worried, but I think they’re misunderstanding it. The new lawsuit Cunningham just launched is solely related to the Friday the 13th reboot, in which he claims profit losses, either he didn’t get paid what he should or stopped being paid what he should.
Either way, it’s a fairly common lawsuit and will probably be settled out of court. With the timing of it, I’m almost certain that he’s doing this new one (which he’ll probably win) to cover the legal fees of the still ongoing lawsuit. Because after four years (? I think?) those have to be piling up.
