One hundred years after her untimely death, all manner of academics, bourgeois journalists, and reformist hacks are attempting to rewrite history to use Luxemburg for their own purposes. One example of this is a recent article in The Guardian, which falsely labels Luxemburg as a “pacifist.” In doing so, they show themselves to be no better than those Stalinist falsifiers who came before them. This article therefore proves to be more important than ever, in order to defend the true, revolutionary legacy of this important Marxist figure. We once again repeat the words of Leon Trotsky, “Hands off Rosa Luxemburg!”
