Everyone should stay out of downtown DC tomorrow. There have been assaults and stabbings at the last two “stop the steal” rallies in DC, and this one is expected to be both bigger and angrier while congress officially counts the Electoral College votes.
If we’re lucky nothing will happen, but suffice to say there are going to be some extremely radicalized and delusional right-wingers out tomorrow. The chatter I’ve seen is leaning less in the “let’s go watch liberals cry when Pence re-elects Trump” direction and more of the “how can I sneak a gun past a metal detector” direction.
A number of Proud Boys are planning to attend dressed in their attempts at an antifa impression to stir up the pot too, so there’s a good chance there will be violence amongst them, not to mention towards others
