Maybe someone brought up how it’s kind of stupid that America has a collapsing infrastructure, schools where the teachers have to pay for supplies themselves, and no money for healthcare, but apparently can find room in the budget for a fleet of easily-destroyed giant genocide robots?

I mean, that’s just America’s real life approach to military versus education spending.

In canon the answer is that a bunch of the racists in the American government got so racist that they were too racist even for the US government to keep them employed and they’ve now built a secret genocide lab in orbit around the sun staffed with literal nazis where they’re trying to find ways to make these killer robots even more dangerous

Because however bad you think humanity can get in the Marvel universe they can, in fact, always get worse
