crazy how India can have the largest labor strike in world history and it doesn't even make the news in the US. it's almost like they don't want us to know we can demand better working conditions
250,000,000 people participated in India
For reference that'd be ~75% of the US population
That many people working together for fair labor laws
And most of the western world hasn't even heard about it
1 out of every 30 people in the entire WORLD participated in this strike and you haven't heard about it
4x more people participated than the number of people in the world who have tested positive for covid and you haven't heard about it
This should be a massive story. Why haven't you heard about it? Theres a very specific reason.
The same way every cop is terrified that the angry crowd will realize a badge does not impart super powers, every capitalist government lives in abject terror of We The People realizing that if we worked together there is not a goddamn force in the universe that could stop us from taking a better life from the bastards who are actively denying it to us.
