I’ll be honest, I can understand the burst of parental concern.

There was one time when I separated all the Smarties (think M&Ms) from four packets and kept the red and orange ones in separate bottles.

There was a reason for the orange ones, their coating actually had an orange flavour (IIRC the only Smartie that ever had a flavour of any kind), but the red ones had no reason except they looked interesting all together like that.

My Mum and Dad were interested in an entirely different way… :-P
