Sekhmet has always been a goddess that has watched over me and guided me on my path, and in retrospect, I have come to the conclusion that the aspect of Sekhmet that showed herself to me when I was young and a teenager dealing with emotional abuse was Sekhmet-Mut. Thank you, Sekhmet, for being in my life, both as the watchful and firey Eye of Ra, and as Sekhmet-Mut, the motherly one. Dua Sekhmet!
