Prince of Darkness will be released on 4K Ultra HD (with Blu-ray) on January 19 via Scream Factory. It’s presented in 4K with Dolby Vision High Dynamic Range and 7.1 Dolby Atmos audio.
The 1987 horror film is written and directed by John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing). Donald Pleasence, Lisa Blount, Victor Wong, Jameson Parker, Dennis Dun, and Alice Cooper star.
A Prince of Darkness 7” record available on white and red splatter vinyl (limited to 2,000, with an 18x24 poster) for $58.99 from Shout Factory, or on clear and green splatter vinyl (limited to 500) for $55 from Sacred Bones Records.
The A-side features a 2017 recording of the title theme by Carpenter
and bandmates Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies, and the B-side features
the trio’s unreleased 2020 recording of “Love at a Distance.” Limited to 2,000,
it’s housed with the film in a slipcase with art by Chris Bilheimer.
