I think the Creep has a good point in that last panel. Being shot is unlikeable.

It was helpful of this detective to announce he’s a detective as well in case we weren’t sure :D

The lady’s reaction to getting shot is the best, ‘for fucks sake, I thought that was a joke’.

She can’t believe the gun wielding man in a cloak trying to steal her necklace would be capable of such things!
