the luzon bleeding-heart, also commonly called the bleeding heart dove or bleeding heart pigeon, is a member of the dove family found only on luzon, an island of the philippines. they are named for the bright red mark on the chest, which resembles a bleeding wound. like other doves, they are social and tend to live in small groups. they have a varied diet, but tend to feed on seeds, insects, and fruits. x
