It has literally always been a lie.  These lies have killed millions of Americans over the years.  It has cost the US Trillions of dollars in lost efficiency and higher healthcare costs over the years.  It has helped drag down the life expectancy of the US, meaning, ultimately, that Americans have lost hundreds of millions of years from their lives.

It was always a lie.

May i politely remind you that those strange lies that somehow believed in the US sounded like very bad jokes to the outsiders. Who else would believe that health care for all mean the totalitarianism?

People also shit on Brazilian free health care and try to defund it. Idk if they managed to but there was an attempt at lifting taxes off of car-related stuff that were a source of money for it.

It does have many, MANY problems (it’s public healthcare in a third world country after all), but it’s disheartening to see the push be to privatize all/most healthcare instead of bettering the free one.

Same with public Universities and retirement plans. I saw posters explaining why the crap the current president said about them Unis was wrong in the one I go to.
