Honestly. My grandmother works in child nutrition and this is the ONLY area in life where the capitalism-brainwash has been wiped away. Doesnt care about “lunch debts”, argued with her coworkers and supervisors that it is not the CHILD’S responsibility to pay, and NO child went without hot food and vegetables when she was cashiering. She gave kids the free/reduced lunch forms every day of the year to give their parents and if they never filled them out, she just gave them another one and the child still got fed. Always.
