Research from the World Health Organization released on June 1st reveals that in small distances (1 meter) between people, the following transmission rates are more accurate:

This looks grim, but the research also shows that for each additional meter of distance the transmission rate is decreased by half. So if two people are wearing masks 2 meters (6 feet) away, there is only a 1.5% transmission rate.
