I’ve barely seen anything on tumblr about the blackout in Washington DC
There’s been radio silence from the city since 1am local time, tweets about it are being deleting and suppressed
[edit to add: there’s now reports coming out that the blackout was fake, I can’t confirm either way, be vigilant]
they’re being hacked
Not only are people being hacked, the message is literally copy/pasted for every account. It’s so incredibly transparent.
this is an elaborate disinformation campaign
the #dcblackout hashtag was spread by bots and then a bunch of accounts were hacked and tweeted a bunch of copy-pasted tweets to cause even more suspicion
