Broke Horror Fan presents The Woman on limited edition, fully functional VHS! As revealed on today’s Shock Waves podcast, our latest tape goes on sale on May 26 at 12pm EST/9am PST at WitterEntertainment.com.
The 2011 horror film is directed by Lucky McKee (May), who co-wrote the screenplay with Jack Ketchum, based on Ketchum’s 2010 novel of the same name. Pollyanna McIntosh (The Walking Dead), Angela Bettis (May), Sean Bridgers (Deadwood), and Lauren Ashley Carter (Pod) star.
The Woman arrives on VHS in a black clamshell case with artwork by Vanessa McKee. Each tape includes an exclusive introduction by actress Lauren Ashley Carter and letters from Lucky McKee and producer Andrew van den Houten, plus special features after the movie.
For optimal VHS viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame. It is officially licensed from Arrow Films and has been approved by director Lucky McKee.
