On this day, 22 April 1891, Italian anarchist Nicola Sacco was born. He later moved to the United States, where he and another Italian anarchist Bartolomeo Vanzetti were wrongfully convicted for murder. Despite a mass international campaign against their convictions, he was executed by electric chair at the age of 36 in 1927.
