Look I know Menkaure’s Pyramid isn’t much to look at but you didn’t have to be mean to him. He tried….and then in the 12th Century the Sultan of Egypt was like ‘no I don’t want those’ and tried to have them demolished. They quickly realised they couldn’t do that very well and..erm…that hole is the result. 

How’d they manage to do that much? Did they have explosives?

No by hand with chisels and ropes. Also that pyramid is much smaller than the other two (the great pyramid is twice the size). It’s not that big of a hole.
