Statue of Goddess Sekhmet

Diorite statue of goddess Sekhmet, seated on throne, depicted with female body and lioness’ head, crowned with sun disk and uraeus. 

New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, reign of Amenhotep III, ca. 1390-1353 BC. From Temple of Mut at Karnak. Now in the Egyptian Museum of Turin.
