Always remember: working people hoard things for the potential use of said thing
Capitalists hoard things for the potential sale of said thing
This isn’t to say said things hoarded can always be used - note the word “potential”, but in a world where in order to eat you have to sell the control of your labor, having a sense of control over something in your life can give a sense of safety & security in times of crisis
