Venezuela: Nearly 50,000 Voting Machines Burnt in ‘Terrorist Attack’

An unknown hard-right militant group has claimed responsibility for the fire which destroyed 99 percent of the country’s automated machines.

Another hard-right militant opposition group called the T-Shirt Soldiers endorsed the Patriotic Front’s actions and claimed they “were not finished.” The T-Shirt Soldiers claimed responsibility for the August 2018 C4-carrying drone assassination attempt against President Maduro.

CIA, just say CIA. It’s the CIA.

At this point I wouldn’t even be surprised given their creation and use of Brigade 2506. The CIA is a fan of creating ‘rebel’ groups to do the dirty work.

This is 100% foul play and not simply protest, that’s for sure. Burning voting machines in response to voter fraud makes no sense unless you want to hide the truth.

FAIR has been documenting how US mainstream media is responding to this, and it’s interesting. One theory promoted is that Maduro is responsible for this, which is ridiculous because not only is the group receiving support from a separate anti-Maduro group that tried to assassinate Maduro, but the consistent argument is that Maduro is unapologetically allowing fraud to occur, and doing so for a long time. Why would he cause such a widespread issue just now, and why is the group that tried and is trying to kill him on his side? This is just like Trump supporters saying violence of other Trump supporters is always a false flag.
