No those are just your bog standard macho adventure novels.  Gun show novels are pretty much exclusively self-published or small-press published (before the Internet, you usually bought them at gun shows, hence the name) and the reactionary conservatism or outright fascism is right up front.  Here are some examples of the type, tw for fascist imagery:
