This man was Latvian anarchist Janis Zhaklis, better known as London East End anti-hero Peter the Painter of the Siege of Sidney Street. Apparently he may have a great grandson in Australia who attempted to contact an author about his relative 15 years ago. We are assisting Freedom Press and a historian to try to establish contact with this individual, or any other descendants of Janis, or anyone who has information about his life in Australia after his escape.
