the last ask reminded me of an experience my dad had. he used to live in a trailer in the woods and 1 night, at like 3am, he was woken up by a horrific scream right outside his window. he was so scared he couldn't move but he figures it was a cougar! scary but neat

The have the WILDEST vocalizations and I couldn’t even imagine having a clear train of thought at 3am to not assume I’m about to die or someone else outside is dying.
