The Cremator will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on April 21 via The Criterion Collection. La Moutique designed the new cover art.
The 1969 Czechoslovak horror/drama film is directed by Juraj Herz, based on a novel by Ladislav Fuks. Rudolf Hrušínský and Vlasta Chramostová star.
The Cremator has received a new 4K digital restoration with an uncompressed monaural Czech soundtrack with newly-translated English subtitles. Special features are listed below.
