While Trump was mocking the Green New Deal to attendees of the Turning Point USA conference Saturday, he turned his attention to wind power.

“I never understood wind,” Trump said. “I know windmills very much, I have studied it better than anybody. I know it is very expensive. They are made in China and Germany mostly, very few made here, almost none, but they are manufactured, tremendous — if you are into this — tremendous fumes and gases are spewing into the atmosphere. You know we have a world, right?”

Keep in mind, trump is doing his best.

Republicons revere him.

We have allowed Republicons power in our government.

Even if Trump wasn’t a racist, homophobic, misogynistic, antisemitic rapist who wanted to fuck his daughter and who willingly associates with literal Nazis (Which he is)

The fact that he DOESN’T KNOW HOW A FUCKING WINDMILL WORKS

That alone should be enough for people to say “This man should not be president “

The office of the president means you are the elected head of an ENTIRE NATION. You can decide policy for an entire country. You can negotiate policy with the entire world

Show of hands: does anyone…ANYONE with a shred of common sense…think that that kind of power should be allowed to be held by a man who doesn’t know what a windmill is or how it works?

It took me LESS THAN A MINUTE  on wikipedia to learn how a windmill works. LESS THAN A MINUTE. Thats less time than it takes to microwave soup. And yet somehow there are genuinely people who think that a man who thinks that windmills are “Spewing fumes and gases into the atmosphere” should be allowed to run a country

I would not trust this man to run a country FAIR let alone a country
