While the article claims “violence” on the part of protestors the only people being violent were the police. It can be understood that the very act of protesting against the CAA as a Muslim would lead one to face extreme consequences under Yogi Adityanath’s government. Keeping in mind that like Kashmir, various parts in Uttar Pradesh have had their internet suspended for days now with reports of extreme violence against students and Muslims trickling out.
