The largest bookstore ever is John K. King’s in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. King bought this old glove factory and stocked all 4 floors with over 1 million books.
When you enter, you’ll be given a map.
There’re new books.
Old books.
And, rare antique books.
Floors and floors of books.
Even celebrities stop by- Jay Leno visited on his way to a charity engagement, to buy a few Corvette repair books.
We’d love to visit this bookstore.
I worked there. It’s fabulous.
