Well for one the money we give to Israel for their defense has the requirement they buy from American companies so its coming back anyway. But also its not a contradiction as long as we cut more than the increase to Israel, net negative is the plan.

imagine saying “this money ends up going into the pockets of arms manufacturing companies” and thinking that means the money is “coming back” in any meaningful sense just because those companies happen to be american.

it’s not “coming back” to you or me, certainly- it’s only “coming back” to ghoulish war profiteers.
