Pantheistic deity, ptolemaic period circa 332-30 bc
Does anyone know if this is Yinepu or…?
Sort of is, sort of isn’t. “Pantheistic” means the statue represents all of Netjer - the prefix “pan” meaning “all” or “everything”- so it’s an all-the-gods statue, which includes Yinepu but it isn’t strictly a statue of Him. This one just happens to have a jackal head.
Thanks!
