Weird how our well-meaning sanctions always starve people to death, increase the chances of the sick dying, and just generally making life unbearable

Fuck off with that bullshit, the American sanctions have nothing to do with the ongoing food shortages, which began at least 4 years before those were even considered.

We don’t have food because the regime long ago monopolized food production in Venezuela, destroying it all, and then forcing us to heavily rely on imports to survive, which were never affordable to the common Venezuelan because of the hyperinflation.

It’s amazing how idiots from both sides of the political spectrum parrot the regime’s bullshit.

“restricting imports have nothing to do with the deaths caused by restricted imports”

Those came into effect in early 2019 and only on petrochemical products, the main tangible consequence being the ongoing fuel shortages.

Food isn’t affected by the current sanctions, and even if it was, the shortages first began in 2014.

Don’t talk about topics you know jack shit about.
