What’s that critter? It’s the tropical bottletail squid (Sepiadarium kochi)! It’s found in waters in the Indo-Pacific, ranging from India to Malaysia and to Japan. During the day, it remains hidden beneath the sandy ocean floor. At night, it emerges to seek out crustaceans for its meal.
