Yeah, we had a policy in my high school where both people in a fight got suspended. Kinda figured if someone started hitting me, I’d just have to lie there and let ‘em do whatever they wanted until help arrived. I mean, I’d probably get hurt, but at least I wouldn’t get in trouble.*
*as a teen getting in trouble was scary for me, so perhaps don’t @ me about how that wasn’t a very smart idea, and how the administration should have changed their policy. Yes, I know.I am honestly surprised these schools don’t end up constantly in court over these policies
