He had one behavior issue on day 1 that I, as a first time dog owner, just can’t deal with in a dog longterm, but today is day 2 and I suspect he was just overstimulated and anxious- he is a much more relaxed dog today. If we can get through the next week with me really trusting him, I’m pretty sure we’ve adopted ourselves a dog and if so, his name is Wick. I wanted to be open and honest about the fact that adopting a dog is not all rainbows and sunshine from day one- I felt a lot of guilt about my doubts but we are sticking with him and I truly think he will be a great dog very soon.
This blog is mostly so I can vent my feelings and share my interests. Other than that, I am nothing special.
