ICE agents and workers feel threatened in Seattle area

Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE, is sounding the alarm saying the mood in the country makes it unsafe for agents and workers. It is the second time in two weeks the agency made a public appeal. ICE said the private workers at the Tacoma Immigration Processing Center are being threatened and the ICE agents who go out and make arrests are getting harassed.

“ ICE said the private workers at the Tacoma Immigration Processing Center are being threatened and the ICE agents who go out and make arrests are getting harassed. ‘Those incidents when there are bystanders who are disrupting the encounter we are attempting to conduct with the target,’ said Nathalie Asher, ICE regional director.”
