Anarchist graffiti and posters in solidarity with the West Papuan liberation struggle seen in Tangerang, Indonesia.
West Papua is currently in a state insurrection, with massive demonstration, riots and clashes with Indonesian occupation forces breaking out daily.
In response, the Indonesian government has cut internet access in the region and deployed an extra thousand soldiers to the already militarised territory.
The current unrest broke out soon after news had spread of a racist mob and police attack on a West Papuan student dormitory in Surabaya, Indonesia on August 17. The Papuan students were beaten, called “monkeys”, then arrested by police.
