Once the winter months hit there are going to be major health epidemics. These facilities are going to be freezing (while some people are literally being housed in the open) and people are going to get sick and die. There’s already reports of those who aren’t being provided adequate supplies and blankets. Mix that with this INTENTIONAL decision to fail to vaccinate when they know there’s an extremely high risk of diseases spreading in conditions like this.

THEY KNOW WHAT THEY’RE DOING

I know it’s right there but I want to stress that this is AFTER children died of the flu, and more deaths are sure to follow. These people are malnourished, aren’t able to sleep well, have no access to adequate hygiene. Their immune systems are already weakened.

They know they’re going to kill these kids. They know that it’s going to rip through the camps. This is deliberate.

I’m on neutral ground on this, but this is what our country is say in simple words.

You may come into the country to seek refuge if you are literally in danger, not because you want money, but you have to be at risk of dying, and no it doesn’t mean because you don’t have enough money either. Now if you think about it the people crossing the boarder unchecked, are potentially bringing in very dangerous viruses, diseases, lice, bed bugs, etc. not only that but when they come to this country abandoning their homeland without just reason is disrespectful, if they can disrespect their heritage like that, then they can easily disrespect the people.

How it impacts our country’s people

-potentially life threatening diseases

-lice, bed bugs

-less jobs for people who are qualified because illegal immigrants are cheap labor

-crime (they come into our country with no money, how do they get it other than cheap labor, especially without and support from family)

-harmfull illegal substances are brought in, substances much more dangerous than weed.

Now on a personal note our country is justified, but I feel that if they want in they should be checked in like at an airport, for illegal substances, and weapons. Then like ar Ellis island, they should be checked for diseases, vermin (bed bugs, lice), and if they have enough money to live until they can get financial support. Now for a bit of a modern twist, background checks into criminal history, and for any warrants. That way both parties would be safe. Anyone who is sick is to be treated, same with lice and bed bugs, before passing, anyone with dangerous criminals history and warents are to be sent away until they serve justice.

Pretty reasonable… I think, I just want both parties to be safe, and not at risk because I care.

“You may come into the country to seek refuge if you are literally in danger, not because you want money, but you have to be at risk of dying, and no it doesn’t mean because you don’t have enough money either.“

You literally have no idea what you’re talking about. And no you don’t “care.”

Guess what happens when you “don’t have enough money”? You live in poverty. Guess what living in extreme poverty does? Puts you at risk of dying. FFS

  10. venustversailles said: @allofthebluhs the nazis were abhorrent, but it all started from somewhere. i don’t think personally that it will be allowed to escalate any further, but the parallels between these detention camps & the concentration camps (which started off rather benignly) is striking. i’m not comparing it to what the nazis did; i’m just saying that some aspects do have similarities and that it’s troubling to imagine how it could unravel
  11. allofthebluhs said: @harpsichord-hearts it’s not similar in the slightest. Yes, go ahead and point out the bad conditions and the situation, but don’t dare compare it to what the Nazis did.
  12. venustversailles said: @allofthebluhs sure, but why are ppl trying to get into the us in the first place? bc they have nowhere else to go that’s safe. just bc they’re conflating this doesn’t mean that all aspects of the narrative have to fit; there’s enough disturbing similarities which shouldn’t just be ignored.
