Seven Blood-Stained Orchids (known in its native Italian as Sette Orchidee Macchiate di Rosso) is a giallo cult classic, but its original soundtrack - composed by Riz Ortolani (Cannibal Holocaust) - is presumed to be destroyed.
Ozarks has taken it upon themselves to record a cover version of the film’s main theme. The Oregon duo stays as true to the original as possible in an attempt to resurrect the long-lost gem.
The resultant rendition is available on flexi disc vinyl via Lunaris Records. There are two color variants available: red is limited to 200 and costs $8, while white is limited to 55 and costs $9. A digital download is included.
Eric Adrian Lee designed the artwork, and Toxic Holocaust frontman Joel Grind mastered the track. Stream it below.
