The archaeological zone of Malinalco, Mexico is the only monolithic architectural structure of great dimensions in the country and dates back to the Postclassic period of Aztec and Mexican culture (15th century). The main building is the monolithic structure called Cuauhtinchan or Casa de las águilas.
