I would have to say my favorite cult film, and using midnight movies as a standard would probably be “The Toxic Avenger”. I remember seeing it on TV as a kid and thinking it was the best movie in the world. Some runners up would be “Street Trash”, “El Topo” and “Basket Case”. But, I do have a soft spot for B-movies like “Laserblast”.

I think some of my favorite horror films are criminally underrated. This is probably because they had a crappy release or were overshadowed by other releases that their creators did: “Lifeforce”,and“Nightbreed” in their Director’s Cuts because both of those films were cut by the producers and have undeserved low raring on Rotten Tomatoes and other sites.I also like  “Retribution”, “Mausoleum”, “Society”, “Mortuary”, “Frightmare”, “One Dark Night”… I could go on and on because I am always seeking out obscure movies.
