Day 31 – August 1995 – Issue 3:  As Godzilla lies, possibly dying, as a giant bat-creature from space arrives on Earth looking for food.  Professor Yoshiwara has been arrested because Godzilla’s blood has been tainted with the poison she created and is contaminating the environment. She had also developed an antitoxin for the poison which the governments want to help people possibly affected by contact with Godzilla’s blood.  Bagorah arrives and battles with Cybersaur.  Bagorah is a very cool creation.  It is more bat-like than Batragon from the Marvel series and looks like a predecessor to the mutated bat in Godzilla the Series (1999).  There is also an uncanny resemblance between Bagorah’s face and that of Cloverfield (2008).  Story by Kevin Maguire.  Cover art by Arthur Adams.
