On this day, 25 April 1960, huge numbers of people took to the streets in Seoul, South Korea against the dictatorship which had massacred 180 students a few days previously. The crowds hugely outnumbered police and the army, who refused to follow orders to open fire. This was the peak of the April revolution which would conclude the following day. http://bit.ly/2PBNdDz
