The Black Bird of Chernobyl is said to look extremely similar to Mothman - in fact, many believe that they could be the same creature. The Black Bird was seen several times in the days leading up to the Chernobyl disaster, causing many people to think that it was an omen of the event. This belief was further prompted by the fact that there were no reports of sightings after the nuclear meltdown occurred.
