The New York Ripper will be re-released on Blu-ray on June 25 via Blue Underground. It has been newly restored in 4K from the uncensored original camera negative. It features both English and Italian audio options.
The three-disc limited edition set includes the new transfer on Blu-ray, a bonus DVD, a CD of Francesco De Masi’s (The Inglorious Bastards) score, a booklet with an essay by Travis Crawford, reversible artwork, and a lenticular slipcover.
The 1982 Italian giallo film is directed by Lucio Fulci (Zombie, The Beyond). Jack Hedley, Paolo Malco, Almanta Suska, and Alexandra Delli Colli star, with Fulci himself in a small role.
