People are making a huge damn deal that Captain Marvel wears a Nine Inch Nails shirt in the movie. Do you see this as a good thing, as in more people will become interested in Nine Inch Nails? Or a bad thing, as in the Wal-Mart-ification of Nine Inch Nails?
I’m more bothered by the fact it looks from the 2018 cold and black and infinite tour, too recent to be set in 90s. I’m happy it’s onscreen though
We had a good laugh on the NIN Facebook group because one of the graphics guys confirmed it was a bootleg.

this is a sorta weird anon cuz NIN has literally been like extremely mainstream to the point of being practically a household name for decades… you can get NIN shirts like, anywhere. NIN is super super popular already so Marvel featurin a NIN shirt isnt really a shocker to me… I think it’s really funny that they did though, it’s fun to see industrial rep (even if its jus more popular bands) in mainstream movies :3
