Want your meal with a side of mouse tracks? That’ s just about the only condition in which you’ll want to venture into one of Trump’s New York City restaurants. As reported by the New York Daily News, the NYC locations received some serious health code violations after inspectors visited and found evidence of unclean surfaces, poor worker practices, and, yes—the dreaded mice.

Health inspectors found and reported on these numerous violations back in 2018. They visited multiple eateries owned by the Trump Organization. For example, in July 2018, inspectors reported conditions that were “conducive to attracting vermin” and “allowing vermin to exist,” as well as “evidence of mice or live mice” at the Trump Grill in Trump Tower. They also determined that surfaces that come in contact with food weren’t properly maintained.
